Stowe Makeover

04/10/2024

We had the privilege of collaborating with the renowned Donald P. Blake Jr. Inc. to renovate 2,000 square feet of a beautiful 10,000 square foot home in Stowe, VT.

This project began with the complete removal of the existing decking, rotted railings, and damaged deck joists. New pressure-treated deck joists and ledger boards were installed to ensure a strong and stable foundation.

The North Ridge Studio renovation transformed an underutilized loft space above the client's garage into a functional and inspiring pottery studio. The project began with the installation of Rockwool insulation, providing fireproof, soundproof, and hydrophobic properties to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

This project was initiated due to a failing sonotube, which was discovered to have cracked in half during excavation. The damaged sonotube was replaced with a reinforced concrete footing, providing a stable foundation for the new deck post, designed to withstand the settling of the rock garden that had been previously installed.
